20 Coolest Sports Bars to Watch the Super Bowl
Commercial integrators have decked out some seriously high-tech sports bars. We found 20 worth visiting to catch the big game -- and loads of other games, too.

Article

If it weren’t for commercial integrators (and residential integrators who do some commercial work), sports bars just wouldn’t be sports bars.

And you might have to spend a Saturday night in a low-lit fru-fru bar with tiny appetizers, overpriced drinks and not much to look at while awful pop music blares. Thankfully, CIs have made it possible for sports bars to proliferate that feature tons of high-definition TVs and even larger screens that allow you to watch about any sporting event that’s being shown on cable or satellite TV.

(And by the way, CI editors enjoy researching this category. Click for photos of Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grill.)

Of course, the largest sporting event of the year is the Super Bowl, which this year should have even more viewers as two of the most historic and well-respected franchise meet for the first time in the big game, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers—with the Steelers shooting for their seventh title and the Packers their fourth.

The big question is, where will you be watching the game?

We’ve scoured through some lists from ESPN, Sports Illustrated and elsewhere to find some popular choices—popular because of the wealth of viewing options that complement the food and drink.

Let us know of any great places we missed, and please tell us about the coolest sports bar installations you’ve tackled in our Commercial Integrator Forum thread.
