Projectors provide the public with some of the best video bang-for-the-buck value in the entire world of electronics.
The Skinny: Helping to drive the increasing sales numbers of the projection category is the manufacturer InFocus.
The Specs: Adding to its selection of commercial products, InFocus has announced its IN3130a series of projectors. The company says the line includes the the IN3134a, IN3136a and IN3138HDa projectors, and the products are designed to provide electronics professionals with a choice of affordable, high brightness solutions.
“Big office windows that allow a lot of natural light can be great for aesthetics and employee morale, but can inhibit collaboration and creativity when the team can’t see what’s being projected. So you either close the blinds, defeating the purpose of the windows, or you get an ultra-bright IN3130a projector,” explains Robert Detwiler, product marketing manager, InFocus.
“Really bright, widescreen projectors for under $1,000 are really rare, especially projectors you can manage over a network,” he says. “The IN3130a models certainly won’t break your budget.”
InFocus states the products can be used with a variety of sources, including Blu-ray and DVD players, cable and satellite boxes, computers and NVIDIA 3DTV Play products, and the products incorporate connection options such as two HDMI ports (one with MHL support), two VGA inputs, S-video and composite video inputs.
The company specifies the IN3134a provides an XGA (1024 x 768) native resolution, and up to 4,200 lumens; the IN3136a provides a WXGA (1280 x 800) native resolution and up to 4,500 lumens, and the IN3138HDa provides an HD 1,920 x 1,080 resolution and up to 4,000 lumens.
Solutions: The IN3130a series of projectors from InFocus can be used for education, corporate and other installations that require high-brightness projectors.
