Audio Technica manufactures a variety of microphone solutions that suit a number of needs in many professional markets.
The Skinny: The company has just announced its System 10 Camera-Mount Wireless line of products.
The Specs: The new products offer users a choice of compact solutions that operate on the 2.4GHz spectrum, which Audio Technica says is far away from TV and DTV interference, and up to eight channels of combined usage with any interference.
Audio Technica adds that the products provide automatic frequency selection, 24-bit/48kHz sound quality, and a choice of 3.5mm (1/8-inch) output with a switch to select between TRS balanced and unbalanced (dual mono). Other features include rechargeable batteries, removable antennas, and receiver and transmitter battery level displays.
The line includes:
- The ATW-1701 Body-Pack System: ATW-R1700 receiver, ATW-T1001 UniPak body-pack transmitter (MSRP $665)
- ATW-1701/L lavalier system: ATW-R1700 receiver, ATW-T1001 UniPak body-pack transmitter, MT830cW omnidirectional condenser lavalier microphone (MSRP $790)
- ATW-1702 handheld system: ATW-R1700 receiver, ATW-T1002 unidirectional dynamic microphone/transmitter (MSRP $700)
