BenQ is a global manufacturer that makes everything from gaming monitors for the residential market, to high-brightness commercial projectors for channels like the education market.
The Skinny: Adding to its commercial line of products, the company just released the MX-520 projector for small- and medium-size spaces.
The Specs: BenQ says the DLP-based projector is capable of producing up to 3,000 ANSI lumens and the XGA-resolution projector is also rated to produce a contrast ratio as high as 13,000:1. Designed to minimize cost of ownership, the MX520 also utilizes BenQ’s SmartEco which adjusts the projector’s power consumption by as much as 70 percent. It also reduces the projector lamp’s burden by adjusting its light output to its environment. BenQ says the unit supports 3D video and can be used as an entertainment hub through its multiple inputs.
The Solutions: The MX520 can be used in traditional environments such as boardrooms and in non-traditional spaces as part of a portable video system.
