Extron has been a go-to manufacturer for dealers for a very long time through the popularity of products like its CrossPoint 84 matrix switchers.
The Skinny: Adding to its CrossPoint 84 line of products the Anaheim, Calif.-based manufacturer recently announced its DTP CrossPoint 84 IPCP matrix switcher.
The Specs: According to Extron, the CrossPoint 84 IPCP features its built-in IP Link Pro control processor from total A/V system control, as well as 4K matrix switching capabilities, two built-in scalers, integrated DTP and XTP transmitters and receivers, and a mono/stereo amplifier that incorporates DSP options.
With the help of Extron’s IP Link Pro control processing technologies, electronics professionals can set up streamlined, state-of-the-art full A/V systems with advanced control capabilities.
“We are very excited to be offering the DTP CrossPoint 84 IPCP, an industry-leading 4K presentation switcher like no other for delivering total system integration, including control of an entire A/V system,” explains Casey Hall, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Extron. “The DTP CrossPoint 84 now includes a built-in IP Link Pro control processor with the most powerful, advanced capabilities available in a configurable control system. It can even be expanded to create large-scale control systems.”
Like other products from Extron, the DTP CrossPoint 84 IPCP configures via the company’s Global Configurator programming tool. Extron points out that with this tool electronics professionals can set up and accommodate for criteria such as conditional logic, local variables and macros.
Solutions: The DTP CrossPoint 84 IPCP can be used in environments like corporate buildings, government sites and school campuses. In addition, the systems can be monitored and managed via Extron’s GlobalViewer Enterprise server-based software.
