Sometimes a room’s layout can make it difficult for integrators to incorporate AV. Extron has devised a product to solve that problem.
The Skinny: The company’s Half Rack Shelf System provides integrators with options for incorporating AV into designs and locations not previously available. The solution uses one-half rack width and smaller products.
The Specs: The Half Rack Shelf System consists of the HRB 109 Basic Rack Shelf, the HRU 109 Universal Rack Shelf Kit and the HRP 100 Blank Panel. Extron says the 1U half-rack width size allows the mounting of half-, quarter-, and eighth-rack products in space-constrained furniture that are not wide enough to support the mounting of full width, 19” rack shelves or electronics.
Solutions: The system can be installed in a variety of settings where space is a concern.
