IC Realtime, a manufacturer of video surveillance technology, has just launched ICMyCloud, a convenient and secure off-site video surveillance storage option for residential and commercial applications.

Compatible with the brand’s video surveillance cameras and recorders, the service starts at $7.99 per month per channel, with up-charges for various storage options. Each channel activation earns the dealer a recurring monthly commission from IC Realtime. The brand is offering end-users a free 30-day trial period upon signup.

Developed as a backup solution and/or alternative to traditional video surveillance recorders, ICMyCloud provides large bandwidth capabilities to make possible live streaming in high-definition (1080P), as well as two-way talk and night-vision features. Monitoring is achieved via computers and iOS and Android devices. The company explains that some of the uses for its cloud service include home and small business surveillance as well as baby and pet monitoring.

IC Realtime CEO Matt Sailor points out the company’s goal was to ensure the service offered dealers and their clients the best possible performance.

“The user-interfaces of the traditional cloud-based storage services on the market are weak because they’re just too difficult to navigate, nor are they security-focused,” says Sailor. “We designed ICMyCloud to be intuitive to view live camera feeds, play recorded content and create video clips and snapshots.”

ICMyCloud is hardware agnostic to allow dealers to use it with single cameras, NVRs and hybrid security products. IC Realtime adds the cloud service’s interface makes it easy to select devices and options desired. Soon it will release new support tools such as video analytics (for use with, for example, virtual fences, object detection, people counting, etc.), motion alarm alerts and more.

IC Realtime dealers activate their client’s ICMyCloud plan directly at http://www.icmycloud.com, and each channel activation earns the dealer a monthly commission.

“IC Realtime is the first to put a revenue share in place on a video surveillance cloud storage solution,” notes Sailor. “We did this because it’s important to us that our dealers continue to profit from all the products and services they sell.”

In September, parent company IC Real Tech will launch its ALLie dual 360-degree video surveillance camera aimed at the DIY crowd along with a cloud-based storage plan for ALLie.
