Sharp Electronics will demo its interactive display solutions for classrooms or boardrooms, as well as the 120″ commercial 4K LCD display at booth #3301 of this year’s InfoComm show.

Gary Bailer, director of product planning and marketing of pro AV products at Sharp, took the time to talk to CI about what the company has planned for integrators visiting its booth at InfoComm 2015, June 17-19 in Orlando.

If we learn about only one product innovation in your InfoComm 2015 booth, what should it be?

At InfoComm 2015, Sharp will be showcasing the latest AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems. When in a classroom or meeting room, it can be a challenge to keep everyone focused and engaged.

Designed to enable smooth and effortless communication between colleagues, classmates, and others in a wide variety of settings, Sharp is expanding its product line and will be introducing premium and value models to the product line.
A breakthrough featuring capacitive touch technology—Sharp’s new 80″ Class (80″ diagonal) PN-L803C interactive display, which is scheduled for the availability in late August, sports a thin and stylish design featuring edge-to-edge glass while Sharp’s advanced capacitive touch technology lets you say goodbye to unintended input and writing errors.

In addition, it allows users to display and freely annotate a huge variety of documents, with up to four people able to write onscreen at the same time. The Sharp Touch Viewer touch-operated onscreen user interface lets users simultaneously manipulate and operate different types of files to create more active meetings. An ideal addition to any environment needing seamless collaboration, advanced connectivity and unparalleled reliability.

Separately, Sharp’s 70″ Class (65.5″ diagonal) PN-C703B provides a flexible and cost-effective platform to boost collaboration and enhance the impact of lessons, meetings or presentations. The large full-HD 70-inch touchscreen monitor lets users display and manipulate a variety of information with ease and precision.

Smart and convenient pen software opens up new possibilities for brainstorming and sharing information in real time by recognizing up to six points of contact and letting two people write on the screen at the same time.

What if we have time to see one more thing?

At InfoComm 2015, Sharp will preview the World’s Largest 4K Ultra High-Definition Commercial LCD Display, the 120″ Class 4K UHD Display.

This massive 120″ Class Display boasts the highest 4K Ultra HD resolution (3,840 x 2,160), showcasing detailed text and breathtaking high-resolution content without sacrificing the viewable area with obtrusive bezels from large format video walls or requiring specialized light controlled environments that come with projectors. Direct-lit LED backlighting delivers natural, vibrant picture quality and uniform brightness.

Providing the highest 4K UHD clarity for close viewing, this high-impact professional display is ideal for a multitude of environments, including data visualization, command and control, surveillance, boardrooms, and unified communications.
