Key Digital Compass Kit Provides Dealers Total Control Capabilities

Sometimes choosing the right combination of devices for a specific application can be a daunting task. In the case of Key Digital‘s Compass Control line, the company is simplifying the process with the release of its KD-CCKIT100 Master Controller Kit.

Built upon Apple’s popular iOS platform, the New York company’s Compass Control line can be used to address residential and commercial control system installations.

The KD-CCKIT includes a KD-MC1000 Master Controller that incorporates a total of eight ports (six MCP35 multifunction I/O ports, one relay/contact closure port and a ZigBee wireless port), ZigBee 2.4GHz wireless bi-directional control capabilities, IR learning capabilities, USB support for system configuration and firmware updates, and the ability store system variables with or without an iOS device.

The kit also includes a KD-ZRC300 ZigBee Wireless 2.4GHz and IR Universal Handheld Remote Control that offers features such as 48 programmable hard buttons, as well as the ability to control as many as 10 components. Through its ZigBee technology, the remote can operate components from as far as 100 feet away without the benefit of line of sight.

Rounding out the kit are the KD-ZRX200 ZigBee Wireless 2.4GHz to RS-232 receiver and transmitter that facilitates the use of the ZigBee remote and the company’s PC-based PC Editor Software that enables dealers to program complete systems that include custom interfaces.
