The Pacific, Mo.-based company Lowell Manufacturing designs and produces a variety of products that range from racks and equalizers, to power accessories and wall plates.
The Skinny:Adding to its line of products, the Midwestern company has recently announced its OS-150 loudspeaker, which is now shipping.
The Specs: Lowell says the speaker is designed to serve dealers as a ready-to-install surface-mount solution for commercial and residential applications.
The OS-150 features a horn-loaded compression driver that is set up to control high-frequency dispersion to complement systems that require longer throws or systems that include live microphones.
Lowell points out the product is also designed for fast installation through its U-style mounting bracket that facilitates 70-degree horizontal by 70-degree vertical dispersion, and it also incorporates an input switch that allows for the choice of 8 ohm, 70 volt, 25 volt or 100 volt.
Lowell adds the speaker also utilizes a weather-resistant molded polypropylene housing and coated-aluminum mesh grille that supports its placement in a variety of locations.
Solutions: Lowell says the OS-150 loudspeaker can go in locations that include most indoor and protected outdoor venues.
