Matrox C-Series Cards Deliver High Performance

The latest graphics cards from Matrox are designed to support multiple displays and resolutions, set to be available in the fourth quarter.

Adding to an already diverse line of display solutions, Matrox has announced new graphics cards to support a variety of video systems.

The Skinny: The company’s new C Series Quad and Six-Head PCI Express Graphics Cards can be used by dealers to address a multitude of applications.

The Specs: The C420 quad card incorporates passive cooling, and its low-power consumption and slim profile enable its installation in small and embedded systems. The C680 PCI Express card provides users with six outputs, and the company states its robust design provides stable and reliable use over long periods of time.

Both cards offer 2GBs of on-board memory, mini-DisplayPort connectivity,and they are designed with AMD GPUs that include DirectX 11.2, OpenGL 4.4 and OpenCL.

In addition, Matrox points out the cards are compatible with its PowerDesk desktop management software for Windows that enables users to configure and manage multiple display setups. Moreover, the cards are compatible with the Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems, and Linux operating systems.

Solutions: The cards can be used for a range of video display systems, including control rooms, digital signage, enterprise, security, A/V and embedded applications.
