The Pensacola, Fla.-based manufacturer QMotion is making a bold claim with the launch of its latest product.
The company says its new motorized drapery systems eliminate the unsightliness of shade products that employ tracking mechanisms.
QMotion’s new trackless motorized drapery rod is designed to provide electronics professionals a motorized window solution that installs into residential and commercial environments without the aid of tracks. The company explains that another of the product’s selling points is the rod’s patent-pending, battery operated motors that run on standard alkaline batteries.
The trackless motorized drapery rod is engineered to run quietly so it doesn’t provide a distraction within a home or business, and the rod also incorporates QMotion’s Touch Wand Activation manual override option. This feature allows users to tap the wand to open or close drapes through movement sensing technologies.
QMotion offers the rods in a choice of six finishes and it supports the product with optional finials that are available in a choice of six designer styles. In addition, QMotion notes the drapery hardware can be paired with decorative curtains to provide clients with a completely customized look for their interior spaces.
