SunBriteTV Upgrades Pro Series to 700-NIT LED, Releases New Signature Series Models

Published: 2014-06-20

“This spring we’re completely revamping three lines of products,” said said VP of marketing Tom Dixon in a pre-InfoComm 2014 interview with CI.

Dixon subsequently departed to assume the same position for Soundcast, and SunBriteTV is left with a fury of announcements during InfoComm 2014, June 18-20 in Las Vegas.

The news that SunBriteTV’s upgraded Pro Series models feature 700-NIT LED high heat tolerant displays and SunBrite’s Extended Solar Tolerance technology to completely guard against isotropic blackout in direct sunlight and the introduction of the 55-inch and 65-inch Signature models to round out its Signature Series follow SunBriteTV’s other InfoComm 2014 news.

The new Pro Series models also include Ambient Light Sensors, which automatically adjust brightness based on surrounding lighting conditions.

“With the Pro Series, we’ve taken what was the most rugged outdoor TV ever built and increased the brightness and direct sunlight viewing abilities so that facility managers and integrators can confidently place these TVs in bright sunlight areas in their venues,” says SunBriteTV CEO Cameron Hill in a press release.

“The new and improved Signature Series will represent the most affordable, best-performing outdoor televisions on the market.”

The 55- and 65-inch Signature models join the already-available 32- and 46-inch models. SunBriteTV says the improved Signature Series features bright LED panels, power-coated aluminum exteriors, 50 percent slimmer profiles, lighter weights and improved durability over earlier generation models.
