The Skinny: Tripp Lite‘s new VGA over Cat5 Extender/Repeater Kit and VGA over Cat5Remote/Repeater kit are designed to transmit and receive VGA data and IR signals to enable users to manage their work environments and the plethora of technologies they employ in an efficient manner.

The Specs: The VGA over Cat5 Extender/Repeater Kit (models B130-11 and B130-111A) includes a transmitter and remote/repeater that extends video signals up to 1024x768 as far as 1,000 feet. The VGA over Cat5 Remote/Repeater Unit (models B132-110 and B132-111A) are daisy-chainable devices that can be used to increase IR control distances up to 1,000 feet. The B132-110A incorporates VGA Plus Audio signal transmission capabilities and the products also incorporate EQ and gain controls.

Solutions: Tripp Lite says the solutions can be used to address installations in digital signage, classroom and retail environments.
