The Specs: Vanco‘s Analog Audio over Cat5e/Cat6 Cable Extender (part number 280535) is designed to provide electronics professionals with a simple solution that can transmit analog audio signals long distances. Vanco says the solution has a range of more than 1,900 feet, and it incorporates a switch that allows for the choice between stereo audio and mini stereo audio. The transmitter includes dual gold-plated RCA female jacks, a 3.5mm mini-pin input, and an RJ-45 output. The solution is passive and the transmitter/receiver combination is small enough to hide where ever it is convenient to place the devices.
