Videotel’s VP71 Loops Content Stored on SD Cards & USB Drives

The industrial-grade VP71 digital signage player from Videotel automatically loops content to provide users with a low-maintenance communications tool that is plug-and-play ready.

The Chula Vista, Calif.-based manufacturer Videotel has a lot of experience in developing its vast line of digital signage players.

The Skinny: Adding to its line of digital signage players, the California company has introduced its VP71 Industrial Digital Signage Player.

The Specs: The VP71 was designed by Videotel to serve users as an industrial-grade, plug-and-play media.

Videotel says the digital signage player is capable of automatically looping content stored on USB and memory cards, and electronics professionals can set up the device to communicate via RS-232 to expedite the installation process.

Videotel explains the player connects to any NTSC, PAL, HDMI or VGA monitor and it supports a variety of resolutions ranging from standard definition 480i, to high-definition 1080p content.

In addition, it supports image formats such as JPEG, TIFF and BMP, and the manufacturer backs the VP71 with a two-year warranty.

Solutions: Videotel says that dealers can utilize the VP71 Industrial Digital Signage player in digital signage applications that include audio/video broadcasting and digital engagement scenarios.
