Key Digital Expands Line of HDBaseT Extenders

Key Digital’s KD-CATHD250Lite and KD-CATHD250POH HDBaseT extenders can be used for a variety of audio/video installations.

Mike Tsinberg, founder and president of Key Digital, has extensive experience with digital video technologies.

Through his leadership, his company has developed an expansive line of digital signal management solutions that was recently augmented by the KD-CATHD250Lite and KD-CATHD250POH HDBaseT extenders.

As part of the company’s FatCAT series of products, the new extenders are engineered to provide electronics professionals with a versatile choice of solutions that can be used in residences and commercial buildings. The products are compatible with consumer formats such as 1080p at 60Hz and computer resolutions such as 1920×1200. Utilizing the HDBaseT format, the Key Digital products are designed to transmit full HD, 3D, 4K, IR and RS-232 signals over a single Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable distances of more than 200 feet depending on the resolution.

The KD-CATHD250POH incorporates power over HDBaseT to eliminate the need for a power supply at the receiver end of the transmitter/receiver combination. The N.Y.-based manufacturer backs the products with limited lifetime warranties.

Dealers interested in learning more about the products and the rest of the Key Digital product can visit the company at the upcoming InfoComm show (booth #C9322) in Las Vegas during the week of June 14-20.
