If nothing else, the pro-AV industry has shown that it does not slow down in the summer. Even through punishing heat and the ever-present temptation to leave work early for mid-season barbecues, AV companies like Diversified, Meyer Sound, Core Brands, and many others remind us that business is no vacation.

That’s not to say that there’s no positivity in the workplace, however, since many of these brands’ employees are rising in the ranks. Signal management and infrastructure solution manufacturer FSR promoted from within when they made 25-year employee Paul Fitzsimmons the new manager of trade show logistics, and former inside sales supervisor Jamie Ersalesi the new sales manager in Paul’s place.

Other AV companies, like former CI Integrator of the Year Diversified, made larger changes in executive leadership. Jon Pannaman joins Diversified as the new senior VP of emerging technologies, a position the company says is aimed at implementing more advanced workflows amidst a changing technological environment.

Meyer Sound announced the appointment of Michael Bogden to represent sales in the Midwestern United States. Bogden brings extensive experience in sales and client services and formerly served as Visual Horizon Communication’s client development specialist.

While these and other AV brands show continued growth through distribution announcements and employee onboarding, Ui Supplies brings attention to its operations in a more gustatory fashion. The Clifton, NJ company invites integrators to their facility for an August 3rd barbecue and mini trade show in celebration of the company’s 5th anniversary and branding transition from their former name, Ultimate Integration.

The proceedings will include demonstrations, training sessions, giveaways and more. Register for the BBQ here.
