Key Digital’s new KD-8x8CSA and KD-4x4CSA matrix switchers enable users to switch sources through an iOS app for easy IP-based switching applications.
Using a combination of its matrix switchers and Compass Control products, the N.Y.-based company says dealers can setup “bulletproof government NOC/SOC” system solutions.
Key Digital explains that command centers, network operation centers and other similar environments “depend on secure, unfailing and steadfast technology,” and it is capable of delivering the reliable hardware and software.
Taking a brief look at the KD-8x8CSA, the switcher provides eight HDMI inputs and outputs, audio de-embedding, support for resolutions as high as 4096×2160 Ultra HD 4K content, along with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling and 60Hz video at 4:2:0.
The KD-8x8CSA also supports HDR video content, and lossless audio, including Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Atmos object-based surround sound, and DTS-HD Master Audio.
Key Digital’s KD-4x4CSA provides four HDMI inputs and four outputs, along with many of the same features as the larger capacity KD-8x8CSA.
In addition, Key Digital emphasizes, the matrix switchers are controllable via IP through its Key Digital app.
