Seura Two Way Mirror Reflects Class by the Glass at Naples Wine Collection

Plenty of life-changing wines can be had in Naples, Italy (pronounced: ‘Napoli’). But there’s a competitor in Naples, Florida that, while lacking in Mediterranean sunlight and Italian accents, has class and atmosphere by the glass, thanks to a unique Seura two way mirror.

Naples Wine Collection recently completed their new entertainment space with designs from local AV company, Synergy CTS.

Inside the Naples Wine Collection Entertainment Space

The Naples Wine Collection’s space for entertainment functions, called The Cave Bistro & Wine Bar, creates an inviting atmosphere for special events with its rustic arched room, grey stucco walls and river rock accents.

The space boasts a complete Savant control system integrating audio and video distribution, Lutron lighting, cameras, security & fire, networking, and more. With five zones of audio distribution, including streaming audio, they offer a wide variety of music entertainment to suit their customer or special event needs.

A video distribution system includes a custom-built lift for the television which disappears into the ceiling and rotates, while displaying a 4K, 65″ screen.

The Naples Wine Collection space also offers video presentation for events with display needs, as well as microphones necessary for the interactions between customer and presenter. A centralized rack holds all the needed components for the storefront, including the 16-camera security system.

Seura Two Way Mirror: The ‘Entertainment Glass’

The technological centerpiece at The Cave Bistro & Wine Bar is the arched 25′ x 8′ two way mirror custom designed by Synergy CTS. But this feature wasn’t installed for monitoring the bar; it really acts as a two-way mirror TV wall.

This “entertainment glass” mirror hides two 55″ 4K TVs. When those are turned off, patrons cannot see them — but when they’re on, they maintain a clear, crisp picture from behind the glass.

The mirror has a bronze tint to compliment the interior design of The Cave. Control of the televisions, and back lit arch lighting, is integrated into the Savant control system.

The Suera two way mirrors required 8 weeks of production time to match Synergy’s specification and design. Installation took place over 2 ½ days with a crew of 6-8 always on the site.

The entire system is monitored by Synergy CTS’ Last Mile team. Last Mile was created to service systems with real time, proactive monitoring and a dedicated service division to ensure systems are always operational.
