The company’s latest release, the TL-CPT-HD01, provides a low-profile HDMI connection point that mounts under tables, desks, podiums or any other flat surface.
Measuring in at 2 inches tall by 2 inches wide, the TL-CPT-HD01 serves as a mountable inline HDMI repeater between table-top source devices, displays and/or other HDMI electronics. It’s completely powered by the 5V HDMI connection and supports HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 signals. Dual female HDMI connectors allow for integration with cables from virtually any manufacturer.
TechLogix is among the adopters of the Software Defined Video Over Ethernet (SDVoE) Alliance. The group now has more than two dozen members.
For a group aiming to standardize AV over IP, association president Justin Kennington said it was important to rally collaboration manufacturers from AV and IT; software vendors; and more.
“My concept in going to recruit this membership is No. 1, it only succeeds as an eco-system,” he told CI. “If there were just a few box manufacturers, there are limits to the value that has. When we can expand that and bring in hardware manufacturers, software manufacturers, switch vendors … bringing them all together, it makes it much more powerful to the IT guy.”
“The mission of the SDVoE Alliance is to provide the solid, stable, reliable and cost-effective AV-over-IP platform the pro AV market needs to fully realize the benefits of standardized Ethernet infrastructure,” said Kennington.
TechLogix recently won a Top New Technology (TNT) award at ISE 2017 for Home Theater/Multi-Room Audio/Video for its TLXpress AV over IP System.
TechLogix Networx also recently added three rep firm partnerships to their western U.S. sales channel, including Image Marketing West, Quantum Sales & Technology, and Directlink Marketing.
