Mobile apps have undoubtedly impacted businesses across the globe and in various industries.

Here at CI, we were interested in grasping a better understanding of how the development of mobile apps has impacted the integration industry. Our Research Department conducted a survey asking industry professionals to share with us the top apps they use while at work.

According to the survey results, designers, engineers and programmers lean on mobile apps regularly for easy access to tools they need for projects.

“As a senior designer/engineer/CAD manager, I don’t get into the field a whole lot. As such, I don’t like having to fiddle with taking a bunch of gear that I may or may not remember how to use properly. I like the simplicity of having everything at my fingertips and easy to use,” said R. Sullins of AVDB Group.

The Crestron App is one app that various engineers lean on. Crestron App easily integrates Apple iOS and Android devices with the Crestron Control System to monitor and control lights, shades, media, climate, security, and more from anywhere with a mobile broadband or Wi-Fi connection.
