Inside Leon Speakers’ InfoComm 2014 Booth

Published: 2014-06-25

If you stopped by the Leon Speakers booth at InfoComm 2014, you saw several custom audio solutions in different settings.

The trend of the company’s booth this year was to conceal and reveal an integrated TV and sound system with the push of a button.

Rob Waissi, senior industrial designer, describes Leon Speakers as a “video-centric company, pairing the audio with the video source,” called Direct Source Audio (DSA). He describes Leon’s focus on distributed audio and uses such as videoconferencing, where AV integration is important.

Leon’s newest products demoed at the show include the Horizon Interactive 500 Series Speakers and the Edge media frame with the OTO soundbar. OTO is brand new this year. In the video below, watch the Edge Media Frame pop off the TV and then slip easily back on, concealing all sides of the display and connecting the OTO soundbar with the TV for an elegant look.

Also featured this year was the Duel Eclipse, an aesthetic solution that slowly moves to conceal a display with a painting.

Watch the video to hear from Rob Waissi, along with Michael Fencil, commercial sales and marketing director, and Bryn Morrison, senior technologist, and see the new products up close.
