Published: 2015-04-29

Luxul has been building a loyal base of dealers in the custom electronics channel for several years.

In a move to support this growing dealer base, the Rocky Mountain region manufacturer has announced a new wireless controller that is designed to support a variety of system installations.

Luxul’s new XWC-1000 Wireless Controller has been developed for installers. The company says it provides dealers with a simple and time saving solution to set up networks with multiple access points (AP).

“The XWC-1000 is the first wireless controller designed specifically for the custom integration pro,” says Jeffrey Curtis, CEO, Luxul. “It addresses the primary wireless networking challenges our dealers face daily, including seamless roaming, simple setup and profitability. We’re excited to bring such a great product to market that helps our dealers efficiently and profitably deliver a superior wireless roaming experience and exceed customer expectations.”

Using the company’s proprietary Roam Assist technology, the product is said to solve client roaming issues. The XWC-1000 is capable of managing as many as 16 access points.

Luxul adds the XWC-1000 is compatible with all of its standard power APs, as well as its XAP-12xx and XAP-15xx series of high-power APs to allow installers to mix-and-match access points to meet performance and budget requirements.

The wireless controller is available as a stand-alone solution, or in kits that include APs and PoE (power over Ethernet) hardware, such as its XWS-1310 and XWS-2500 solutions.
