Dashersonic makes a good point.
The “CEDIA or like certification preferred” isn’t a good start.
What they lack in demonstrating a strong understanding of the commercial market they will probably make up for in marketing power. We might even see this lady in a Best Buy Commercial commercial.

hmm, so they hired a guy who’s background is in residential systems to head up Commercial integration? And they are looking for a Commercial account manager with a CEDIA or like certification?
Really?
Why not Hire a guy with a commercial installation background and look for People with InfoComm CTS certification? Yes, real commercial integration professionals. The management at Best Buy really doesn’t know how different residential and commercial systems are? Consumer electronics vs. commercial electronics? I bet they have never even heard of a 70V distributed audio system.
This is great. I hope they install the same Consumer electronics and residential systems in commercial applications. the quicker the better so the sooner they fail. But Wait, it’s BEST BUY. there will always be people who will buy from them any on the strength of their brand.
