The Ore.-based video manufacturer Planar Systems is merging two of the hottest markets and technologies to help dealers and their clients manage video content.
Planar’s newly announced UltraRes App for Apple iOS devices provides users with a readily available and easy-to-use source management tool for its UltraRes Series of 4K LCD displays.
The West Coast company explains that through the newly released iOS app, users can switch sources and manage content with the tap of a finger.

Planar says the UltraRes Series offers dealers a choice of 84- and 98-inch 4K displays that incorporate its MediaPlex feature that is said to enable efficient video and data sources, and the products offer the ability to accept up to eight sources with full image scaling capabilities.
