Bright Futures Ahead for Cellphone Booster Manufacturers

Manufacturers state the FCC’s spectrum auction won’t impact the continued reliance upon their products that enhance cellular network signals.

With more users adopting cellphone devices for connectivity, the cellular industry is in the midst of expansion and one segment that stands to capitalize is cellphone signal boosters.

However, it’s important to note the impact of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) spectrum sale on long-term cellphone signal booster growth, as well as public’s limited awareness of both the FCC auction and the signal booster products and technologies themselves.

Earlier this spring the FCC began its spectrum auction. Accepting applications from broadcast stations as far back as December 2015, the goal of the government’s spectrum reallocation is to ensure the reliability of wireless technologies as public adoption of smart devices increases and more bandwidth is consumed.
