Winsted Makes Standing Desks Easy to Configure with Impulse Dual Sit/Stand Console

Published: 2017-04-14

Almost overnight, work spaces are transforming from the typical cubicle farm setting to a more health conscious environment through the introduction of standing desks. Configuring standing desks for employees isn’t always easy, but products like Winsted‘s Impulse Linear Dual Sit/Stand Console aim to change that.

Designed to foster physical activity, which in turn promotes good health practices, Winsted says says the Impulse Linear Dual Sit/Stand Console enhances workplace ergonomics.

Winsted says the latest version of its Impulse Linear family of products includes all of the features of the original model and builds upon earlier versions through a straight configuration that maximizes the limited space within office and control room environments. Winsted offers the product in a choice of either 59 inch or 83 inch widths.

Explaining some of the benefits of stand-up desks, Winsted says alternating between standing and sitting can increase workers’ energy and reduce their fatigue. The company’s latest product features two independently adjustable work surfaces that users can raise and lower to meet their specific workspace needs, while offering the choice of working while standing up or sitting down.

Users can control both work surfaces by utilizing the console’s electric-lift legs, which provide adjustments ranging from 30 inches to 46 inches. The work surfaces feature a high-pressure Graphite Nebula laminate with Safeguard Edge for increased durability.

Winsted also notes the Impulse Linear Dual Sit/Stand Console incorporates its Versa-Trak Mounting System that supports a variety of monitor arrays, and post-mounted VESA brackets that provide vertical adjustments with tilt and pivot options.

Aesthetically, the console comes with black powder coated paint, and Winsted supports the product with optional decorative end panels that are available in a choice of colors.
