Not all integrators on the commercial side will know a lot about WyreStorm, but they will as the AV distribution solutions provider is now focusing about 80 percent of its R&D on the pro AV market, according to VP of sales and marketing Hal Truax.

Another focus is to reinforce that WyreStorm is a “solution-based” manufacturer, as comfortable with HDBaseT as it is with HDMI or AV over IP, he says.

Its latest solution builds up its HDBaseT cred. The maker of HDBaseT Class A and B transmitters, receivers and matrices has launched its first HDBaseT 2.0 device.

The fully featured 4K HDCP2.2 HDBaseT 2.0 Extender is targeted at enhanced education and corporate connectivity applications.
