Luxul XBR-4400 Gigabit Router Built for Speed

Published: 2014-03-07

This past fall the Utah-based networking manufacturer Luxul bolstered its product line with several new product releases.

The Skinny: One of the newly announced products is the XBR-4400 commercial-grade broadband router engineered to support the increasing burdens users are placing on their networks.

The Specs: The XBR-4400 offers network owners a more powerful and versatile set of networking solutions than its XBR-2300 model router that include full, non-blocking gigabit speeds and configurable WAN/LAN ports.

“As network connection speeds continue to increase, gigabit performance at the router level has become increasingly important to our dealers,” states Jeffrey Curtis, CEO, Luxul. “The XBR-4400 delivers all of the great features and simple installation benefits of the XBR-2300, while also offering full gigabit performance and a few additional features not available with the XBR-2300.

FEATURED REPORT

“Luxul dealers that have had success with the XBR-2300 will find the XBR-4400 together with one or more Luxul Xen high-power wireless access points [WAPs] will provide their customers with an even more robust reliable network experience.”

Luxul’s latest router also supports advanced network capabilities such as QoS (quality of service), secure remote access via VPN and secure guest networking via VLAN. In addition, the company points out multiple WAN connections can be used for redundancy/failover or for bandwidth aggregation.

Solutions: The XBR-4400 gigabit router from Luxul can be used for commercial and high-performance residential networking installations.
