Custom
In most cases, companies doing integration, control systems and even automation do NOT provide custom solutions. They put together high performance control systems and accessorize them to meet the customers wants and needs. The most customization that ever happens in these systems is TP layout and background imagery.
A custom solution involves creating a system that includes one off item that is not commercially available off the shelf.
Most of our systems are performance systems, which is a great thing for reliability and serviceability. Let us reserve the word custom for when it is needed, so when the client gets a price that has to account for prototyping and the like, he is not comparing it to another firm with the word “custom” on their Word document, and no more than an open AVAD account to try and back it up.
