Pub Rethinks Video Wall Usage Using Userful

Florida pub chooses to use a six-display video wall not necessarily for displaying sports but to create unique branding. It might have contributed to a 24% increase in sales.

Most bars that invest in video walls use them primarily to display sports. The larger the screen, or collective screens, the better, in most cases.

The bigger is better argument, however, also applies to branding.

Sarasota, Fla., pub Smokin’ Joe’s uses its mosaic-style, six-display video wall in some pretty unique ways. It leaned on Userful, a solution that turns a standard PC into a video wall controller.

In the video, Brian Duarte, Smokin’ Joe’s managing partner, demonstrates why he chose to use the video wall in a rather distinct fashion that he suspects contributed to a 24 percent increase in sales for the pub.
