Published: 2017-01-27

With digital signage, display technology and interactive screens constantly surrounding Times Square visitors, it’s not easy for any particular building to stand out from the rest.

The Morgan Stanley Building, located at 1585 Broadway, however, wanted to make a statement in September of 2015 when it decided to upgrade its original LED displays, which were installed 20 years prior.

Morgan Stanley called on Daktronics to install new LED displays to transform and modernize its iconic building to better fit the Times Square video technology of today.

The new LED Video Spectacular boasts more than 6 million pixels, 12 million LEDs and 281 trillion colors, and broadcasts content that features Morgan Stanley’s people, insights, and data visualization snapshots presenting what’s happening in financial markets throughout the world.

According to a Digital Signage Connection case study, the new displays “vibrantly transform the site, bringing a new energy and refreshing look to the location thereby opening up new, innovative options for Morgan Stanley branding and promotion.”
