Chief Launches Technology Solutions Group to Serve Digital Signage Rollouts

From product phase recommendations to engineering assistance, Chief aims to cater to the needs of digital signage customers from start to finish.

Chief has launched a Technology Solutions Group, which company officials say will aim “to better serve customers with digital signage rollouts from start to finish.”

The new group “will provide a full-service offering to integrators, manufacturers, content providers and their end users,” according to the announcement, which coincides with the 2016 Digital Signage Expo.

Chief and other Milestone brands are in DSE 2016 booth 2517.

“From product phase recommendations, site surveys, pilot phase support and project management to product modifications and engineering assistance, the group works as a trusted partner and consultant to provide the support and expertise needed at each step of development,” according to Chief’s press release.

Additional capabilities of the Technology Solutions Group include staging and kitting, site surveys and cost of ownership analysis.

“Together, the team is equipped with everything it needs to be the source and subject matter expert for any digital signage project,” according to the announcement.

The Chief Technology Solutions Group “is backed by dedicated support teams across the entire Milestone organization,” the press release says. Customers will have access to all Milestone commercial products including Chief mounts and AV accessories and Da-Lite screens, according to the announcement.

Members will also have access to Chief’s marketing, engineering, customer care and technical support teams throughout the projects. TSG team members act as the facilitator to take the burden off of its partners and create greater efficiencies, according to the announcement.

The North American team is comprised of five people from the U.S. and Canada with diverse backgrounds in AV and digital signage.

Elizabeth Klauda joins the team with more than 15 years of experience in the industry working with manufacturers on large projects. Patrick May joins Elizabeth on the team and has a wealth of knowledge in product management and digital signage solutions architecture. Team member Jarad Flax has been focusing on the digital signage segment for the past seven years and has extensive experience with channel sales, management and program development. In addition, the US team works collaboratively with David Galos, who leads a high performing team in Canada with great success working with many well-known quick-service brands.

Frank Pisano, director of U.S. sales for Chief, will head up the U.S. group while Galos leads the Canadian efforts. Pisano, who has been with the company for 10 years, helped to craft the TSG idea of the new group with a team of Milestone employees.

“I’m excited about the new group and our deeper focus on digital signage,” said Pisano in the press release. “It’s a growth category for all of us and one we need to focus on. Our extensive capabilities allow us to compete on any project, from the simplest to the most complex.”

The team’s various backgrounds fit together to provide expertise on all stages of a successful digital signage rollout.
