Campuses Banking on Emergency Notification, Upgrades

A survey from CI sister publication Campus Safety shows that one in two campus protection professionals say their institutions plan on or are considering deploying new/upgraded emergency alert solutions in the next year.

It’s an unfortunate reality – we live in a society in which mass notification emergency communications (MNEC) solutions are in dire demand.

Most integration firms and specifying consultants don’t see themselves as providers of these mission-critical systems, but their customers are searching for solutions. The commercial integration industry can and should be a part of the eco-system that delivers MNEC systems to K-12 education, higher education, corporate campus, hospitals, transportation and other spaces where people gather. They possess the audio, video, communication and networking expertise needed to design and deliver MNEC.

The research in this free download highlights exactly where demand for MNEC lies. According to CI sister publication Campus Safety one in two campus protection professionals say their institutions plan on or are considering deploying new/upgraded emergency alert solutions in the next year.

For integrators, it’s not so much an opportunity to capitalize on a demand, but to respond to call for much-needed solutions. And that’s what integration firms do.
