New RME Educational Program Yet Another Way to Earn AVIXA CTS Renewal Credits

RME, a German audio manufacturer, has introduced a new RME Educational Program that enables participants to earn AVIXA CTS Renewal credits (RUs).

The company says that as a newly-named official RU provider, it offers more than 12,000 industry professionals the ability to take part in its “Unraveling Audio Networking: An In-Depth Look at Dante, AVB and MADI” to earn two RUs.

“From recording studios, to major concert productions, today’s digital audio systems are more flexible and as a result, more adaptable to the user’s needs, in addition to being reliable and functional,” says Derek Badala, director of sales for Synthax, the distributor of RME in the U.S.

“We designed this course to provide Certified Technology Specialists with the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of today’s digital audio systems, including Dante, AVB and MADI.

“While these systems might be new to some users, they offer a plethora of benefits, including quicker setup times and easy operation. You no longer have to be an IT expert to use these systems.”

RME says that it submitted the course to AVIXA independent Certification Renewal Committee to help provide education to the market. [related]

The get approval from AVIXA for its course according to the company, RU programs must include experienced instructors, as well as “clear evidence of qualification” to support the topic.

Moreover, each class must contain at least a minimum of one relevant “objective or industry-related purpose” that relates to a specific portion of the course’s exam and topic focus.
