AVAD LLC recently announced the availability of the video edition of its 2018 interactive video catalog, a tool that the distributor says “provid[es] dealers with videos, spec sheets, installation details, tools and other product information, accessible to dealers through their computers, tablets and mobile devices.”

AVAD’s digital catalog, which debuted in 2015, “provides dealers with more product details than ever before while highlighting the top video manufacturers and vendors in the industry, including Samsung, LG, JVC, Vivitek, Screen Innovations and more,” according to the company announcement.

Highlighting residential and commercial displays, the catalog “is updated with new products and vendors to provide dealers with the convenience of accessing product information and details with the touch of a button,” according to the AVAD press release.

“AVAD provides dealers with cutting-edge, industry-leading video technology by partnering with the best vendors in the industry, and makes them accessible in their newest interactive video catalog,” the press release says.

“In addition, AVAD continues to add vendor partners for video, audio, home automation and more, which will be continuously added to the interactive product catalogs.”

“We are very excited to launch our newest interactive video catalog with our video edition. It compiles the very best video brands and products in the industry and puts them all in one spot for dealers to view,” said Seth Evenson, director of customer experience management for AVAD.

“Dealers can access everything they need from a jobsite, their office or on the go through desktop or mobile devices. As we continue to invest in cutting-edge tools and solutions for our dealers, the interactive catalog video edition will serve as a platform for the audio, home automation and accessories edition to debut in the coming months.”

The launch of the enhanced interactive video catalog doesn’t mean AVAD is abandoning its Vendopalooza traveling road show in 2018 though.

In 2017, the Vendopalooza series enhanced its typical offerings of the best new products from a number of top manufacturers in the space with a philanthropic effort, collecting money for hurricane relief during its Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., stop.
