ISE 2017 marked the official launch of the Software Defined Video Over Ethernet (SDVoE) Alliance. Now the Alliance will present its AV-over-IP transport and AV processing capabilities to the North American market at InfoComm 2017, June 14-16 in Orlando.
Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance, took the time to speak with CI about what the company has planned for integrators visiting its booth (#3729) at InfoComm 2017.
If we learn about only one product innovation in your InfoComm 2017 booth, what should it be?
The North American launch of the Software Defined Video Over Ethernet Alliance is at InfoComm 2017! The SDVoE Alliance exists in order to drive the adoption of Ethernet as the standard transport for AV signal management, and to deliver a configurable software platform that allows programmers and integrators to better tailor systems to the needs of end users.
On this platform, developers will create new applications not currently conceived. It’s a very exciting time in our industry’s history, and SDVoE is driving it.
