After InfoComm 2019 it’s likely that LED display solutions provider NovaStar left an impression on the North American integration community. It’s not just due to the various LED control and display solutions on display at its exhibit during the trade show in Orlando, Fla. – it’s also because of the China-based manufacturer’s outreach and commitment to the North American market.
Selena Zhang, North America regional manager for NovaStar, talked to Commercial Integrator not just about the products in the booth but also about the company’s strategies in the U.S.
NovaStar has an office in Las Vegas, she points out. The company intends to use that space for regular training sessions for North American dealers. “We have engineers that can do 24/7 technical support,” Zhang says, adding that NovaStar is planning seminars to educate North American dealers about new products and to gather feedback which it will factor into product development.

China-based NovaStar, which was founded in 2008 emerged quickly with a strong technology support presence at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, will be at InfoComm 2019 booth 2773.
John Zhan, NovaStar’s North America regional manager, says the company wants to take the opportunity to show integrators what the company has to offer. In a video interview with Commercial Integrator, he runs through several products the company will be displaying at InfoComm 2019.
Recently, Zhan talked to Commercial Integrator about NovaStar to help North American integrators learn a little bit more about the company. “NovaStar decided to approach the market in a different way than other companies in the industry,” he said.
“Rather than simply creating a variety of LED control products, we first analyze the needs of various applications and then create a series of products tailored to the specific needs of the application. These tailored solutions include low latency, stage rental, digital signage and more, and make it easier for clients to find a solution that works for their specific application.”
