Optoma

Optoma signs a new distribution deal with ASI, a national distributor of IT hardware and software products, to expand its U.S. channel penetration across a variety of verticals including SMB, education and government.

ASI will carry Optoma projectors including the recently launched UHD60, the Intelligo-S1 and its newest line of classroom and corporate projectors with the EH400+, W400+ and X400+.

“The partnership with ASI is a natural fit as we believe our portfolio of products will bring a new level of quality, reliability and affordability to ASI’s customer base,” said Maureen Schmidt, vice president of sales at Optoma. “We’re looking forward to kicking the relationship off in Q4 and expanding the partnership down the line.”

“Optoma is a key player in the video projector space and we’re excited to be able to offer the brand’s products to our customers,” said Kent Tibbils, VP of Marketing at ASI. “We anticipate Optoma will be a strategic partner for us and look forward to our partnership and carrying the Optoma brand.”

The partnership officially kicks off in Q4.
