TEKVOX TekFlex-32 Matrix Switcher Adds 4K HDBaseT Cards

TEKVOX recently announced that it’s made 4K card upgrades for its TekFlex-32 matrix switcher, whose revolutionary design replaces inputs and outputs with slots.

With no limitations to the number of inputs and outputs or the type of connection, TekFlex-32 “gives users the power to pick the input and output cards they need and plug them into whatever slot they choose,” according to the company announcement.

“Now, their options have expanded with the addition of 4K HDBaseT and audio cards for the unit.”

“The addition of 4K HDBaseT cards further increases choices for our customers,” says TEKVOX CEO Jim Reinhart in a press release. “The ability to choose inputs and outputs as needed and the low cost of the cards make TekFlex ideal for all types of systems.”

The new 4K HDBaseT cards support 100m (330 feet) distance.

Here’s more from the TEKVOX press release:

TekFlex-32 comes with 24 card slots with flexible input/output combinations and 8 fixed output card slots. Comprehensive signal card compatibility includes HDMI, DVI, SDI, VGA and HDBaseT.  The switcher offers powerful EDID management, a web-based GUI and controllable front panel buttons (IR, RS232 ad TCP/IP).

The matrix switcher is easy to install and operate and provides substantial cost savings over similar systems. TekFlex-32 is idea for videoconferencing and lecture capture by supplying seamless switching and adjustable resolutions for each output.

Earlier this fall, TEKVOX released the TEK 1201-N next generation presentation switcher, simplifying AV and control in classrooms as well as small collaboration conference rooms.

According to a TEKVOX press release, using the TekTouchPad or TCX9 TekController, it’s simple to create a low-cost mediated classroom or training room with the 1201-N at its core.  Users can even implement CEC control of a Blu-ray player and display for full control using RS232 commands through the TekTouchPad or IP commands through the TCX9.

The TEK 1201-N auto-switcher scaler features five HDMI and one multi-format (VGA, YUV or video) inputs and two mirrored outputs, one HDMI and one HDBaseT Lite. The 1201-N also offers a mix stereo line input, a balanced stereo audio output and separate source and mix volume controls.
