There are a number of factors to consider, and asking the right questions will help you select the best partner. Establish your own expectations, then ask the hard questions:

  1. What does your installation support and assistance look like?
  2. Is there a warranty on your product, and if so, what does it cover?
  3. Do you offer support once the display is installed?
  4. Do you have a customer care philosophy, and how do you live up to it?

Content & CMS

When it’s time to purchase a display for your business, it’s not just the technology itself that matters. You should also consider what’s going on the display and how you’ll manage it.

When deciding on an LED product and creating content, remember:

  • Your displays should be simple, clean, and easy to read.
  • Don’t get sidetracked by flashy animations — those distract your viewers from your message.
  • Consider stock media options. Does your LED partner offer stock photos, animations, and graphics? What about easy-to-edit templates?

When it comes to content management, usability is key. Consider the following:

  • Look for cloud-based software that’s easy to learn and comes with optional training.
  • You should be able to operate your display remotely from a computer or mobile phone.
  • When all else fails, there should be a customer service rep available to help troubleshoot content and display issues.
