Panasonic is releasing its new PT-RZ16KU 3-Chip DLP SOLID SHINE laser projector designed to bring immersive and engaging experiences to live events without additional power requirements.
According to the company, the projector is designed to be flexible and work within the constraints of a venue’s physical infrastructure, meeting the demand for 3-Chip DLP color while reducing installation complexity.
The PT-RZ16KU’s helps bring the company’s projection technology to historic buildings where costly rewiring and additional power infrastructure would be required for the installation of powerful projectors, according to Panasonic.
The projector provides 16,000 lumens of full brightness on 110-120V AC power, making it a suitable solution for event spaces of all kinds, according to the company.
“The PT-RZ16KU’s simplified setup, calibration and operation assure consistently uniform image quality, while enabling 16,000 lumens of full brightness on 110-120V AC power making it ideal for houses of worship, entertainment venues and hospitality spaces like banquet halls, exhibitions and convention centers,” reads a company blog.

The main features of the projector include:
- Color accuracy via 3-Chip DLP technology for RGB and stable brightness and supporting High Dynamic range image reproduction to create immersive visuals.
- A dust-proof and filter-less laser design that provides 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation, auto-backup and early warning features and monitoring and control software.
- Streamlined installation with the company’s Smart Projector Control application that allows setting adjustment and management from a mobile device without the need to turn the projector on..
