NSCA's Chuck Wilson answers Business Outlook Webcast viewers' lingering questions.

During this year’s 7th Annual Integration Business OutlookNSCA’s Chuck Wilson and CI’s Tom LeBlanc shared some analysis of industry survey results, identified where the industry stands, and discussed the challenges the industry is facing today. They also layed out strategies for success in 2017 and beyond.

That’s a lot of information to fit into an hour, and we figured you’d have some questions still lingering. So, we held a post-webcast “overtime” Q&A with Chuck Wilson to answer your questions we didn’t get to during the webcast.

This portion of the overtime session will answer the following questions submitted by viewers:

  1. Do you see government spending up more now that we have a Trump administration and potentially building the military as more of a priority now?
  2. Is acquisition driven by needs of additional skills and capacity or is it driven by the desire by customers to source from a larger firm?
  3. Do you feel the state of the industry is the same in Canada as what has been described in the U.S.?
  4. Are vendors, distributors and manufacturer reps still treating AV integration firms as their customers or are they pushing to be more active with the end-user?
