During InfoComm 2018, June 2-8 in Las Vegas, AVIXA has over 200 InfoComm workshops in its seminar and workshop package — and that includes over 150 programs offered by AVIXA complemented by a large suite of programs offered by exhibitors and manufacturers.

“For one price, you can take all of it, so we’re anticipating that we’ll have over 3,500 people taking advantage of the seminar and workshop package this year. We’ve increased room sizes to make sure that everybody gets to go to everything they want to go to.”

In an industry that craves training and certification, the challenge of having to accommodate so many students is “the best problem in the world to have,” Bradshaw says.

Those students will be able to choose from a seminar and workshop selection that is over 70 percent new, Bradshaw adds. She describes a portfolio of InfoComm workshops that will allow AV professionals to create a program built around their particular technology focus or target customer markets.

Inside AVIXA’s Seminar & Workshop Package

“We have a lot of really compelling case studies in places like sports venues, in hospitality applications, in live events, in all the areas of AV where the market opportunity is expanding really, really rapidly,” Bradshaw says.

“For one price, you can take all of it, so we’re anticipating that we’ll have over 3,500 people taking advantage of the seminar and workshop package this year,” says AVIXA’s Bradshaw.

“If you are interested in learning about how you can best serve hospitality customers, there is a series of courses on that subject in the InfoComm seminar and workshop package that will take you from understanding iterating a room across thousands of rooms, to understanding how to work with content creators, how to work with interior designers, and case studies.”

The opportunity to learn more about the hospitality market, Bradshaw says, is there for InfoComm 2018 attendees to walk away from training that will significantly impact their ability to serve those customers.

“It’ll really take you from getting the general overview of this ecosystem to understanding what partners [need and] how the customer thinks. And if you don’t want to know those things, you’re crazy, because it is one of the fastest-growing vertical markets in AV right now.”
