Spinitar will host “A Virtual Day of Giving” in October to help support cancer research at the City of Hope as a replacement for its annual in-person Golf for Hope tournament this year because of concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.
City of Hope, a private, nonprofit research center, combines leading-edge science with compassionate care to support the fight against cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
The annual in-person Golf for Hope tournament helps AV industry professionals give back to the City of Hope, but Spinitar will be holding the event virtually on Thursday Oct. 15 this year.

This year’s Golf for Hope program will feature silent auction winner announcements, a virtual short-game clinic from LGPA Hall of Famer Amy Alcott, an appearance by Andy Buckley from “The Office,” a message and research update from City of Hope, and much more.
Over the past five years, Spinitar and their AV industry partners have raised more than $400,000 to help fund cancer research and other related initiatives.
