Almo Pro AV Talks Company Culture, Business Dev Manager Roles

Published: 2015-03-17

Almo Pro AV has recently expanded its Pro AV division with the addition of seven business development managers who work closely with integrators and dealers.

The role of these folks is simple—they not only fulfill orders but really get involved in the projects Almo’s partners are involved with.

“One of the things I enjoy about [the business development manager role] is the variety,” says Rob Ziv. “For example, I might be working with a designed one day to help them figure out the details of a systems design. I could then be sitting down with a vendor and their factory and engineers to figure out the next stage of their product.”

It’s important, especially for integrators, to remember that Almo Pro AV is a resource during a project. Its new Installation Services effort is aimed at helping integrators and dealers expand company reach, and is available projects incorporating flat panel monitors, interactive whiteboards, video walls and premise wiring.

But Almo is more than its services—it’s about the people.

“I think what makes Almo special is its people,” says Melody Craigmyle, VP of marketing. “We hear our chairman Gene Chaiken say all the time that our best assets walk out the door every night.”
