At a time when the systems integration world is abuzz with collaboration and convergence, BrightSign‘s booth at InfoComm (#5151) will reflect that in many ways, thanks to several recent partnerships that highlight the company’s myriad capabilities.

BrightSign and Industry Weapon plan to bring what they call “best-in-class digital signage within easy reach of any organization considering the shift to digital” through their collaboration. Under terms of the partnership, BrightSign digital signage media players can now be used with Industry Weapon’s software, CommandCenterHD.

“Industry Weapon takes the intimidation out of creating and managing digital signage content,” says BrightSign CEO Jeff Hastings. “Working together, our companies are bringing to market a comprehensive, easy-to-implement digital signage solution that makes it easier than ever to go digital.”

BrightSign also has formed an alliance with Avnu Digital Inc. to integrate its digital signage players with key displays from Avnu’s product line.

“This turnkey digital signage integration along with BrightSign’s free BrightAuthor software delivers a complete solution to the commercial AV market,” according to the announcement.

Avnu’s BrightSign built-in product line includes commercial-grade touch and non-touch displays that are floor-standing, table or countertop-standing, and wall- or shelf-mounted, the companies announced.

“We have found a number of businesses that want to adopt digital signage but are apprehensive due to the perceived complexity of integrating displays and media players,” says Hastings. “Avnu’s line of products with our built-in platform solves these problems by offering simple, reliable and affordable solutions.”

Avnu’s BrightSign built-in products are stocked and available for purchase through Avnu’s largest stocking distributor, United Visual Products.

Hear from BrightSign CEO Jeff Hastings about the company’s future:

BrightSign’s partnership with Wondersign brings together best-in-class digital signage hardware and [content management system] capabilities, according to the announcement.

“While our work centers on the management of content for digital signage, we need a hardware solution capable of displaying that content with flawless reliability. BrightSign fits that bill perfectly,” said Andy Reinhard, CEO of Wondersign, in the announcement.

BrightSign integrates with Wondersign by connecting directly to the Wondersign service enabling users to create presentations in BrightAuthor for BrightSign’s HD2, XD2 and 4K players and then connect natively to the Wondersign CMS.

BrightSign’s collaboration with digital media content management company Reflect is “the latest highlight in BrightSign’s and Reflect’s longstanding commitment to deliver end-to-end solutions for the digital signage market,” according to the announcement.

Reflect solutions “help brands power their communications with captivating digital media and immersive experiences, engaging their customers throughout their journey in a brand’s location,” according to the press release.

“BrightSign and Reflect share a relentless commitment to delivering unrivaled value, and we’re confident our partnership will increase our ability to better serve our customers’ digital media needs,” said Reflect CEO Bill Warren.

Finally, BrightSign announced it will demonstrate new platform software “that will make it easier than ever to harness the power of HTML5 content in digital signage applications” in its InfoComm booth.

“The new software is integral to BrightSign’s powerful HTML Rendering Engine on the company’s latest portfolio of digital signage media players,” according to the announcement.

“We’re seeing a massive influx of rich content, and digital signage installations need a rendering engine capable of processing all of that content in real time,” says Hastings. “We developed this new software to bring greater efficiency to our BrightSign players, and to ensure that even the most sophisticated content can be processed with ease.”

HTML5 delivers extremely rich experiences for applications like the “endless aisle” in retail, powerful wayfinder solutions and real-time social media applications.
