Christie is set to show off its latest 1DLP projectors at Integrated Systems Europe 2016 in Amsterdam; the DWU1052-Q and DHD1052-Q.

Both projectors claim to feature improved warping and blending to enable more installation freedom performance and imagery.

Christie believes that its latest line-up of projectors are ideally suited for a variety of applications including concerts, live theatre, lecture halls, conventions, hotels, public spaces and other venues where bright imagery is important. It also believes that these applications have the most to gain when it comes to improved blending and warping.

Users can utilise the Christie Q series in either single or dual-lamp mode and is equipped with eClarity. This technology is designed to enhance the picture quality and give users control over things like sharpness, gloss and shading.

The Q Series also benefits from built-in High Dynamic Contrast Range, meaning an image that would typically be washed out from high ambient light conditions can still be displayed on a screen. A built-in automated dual colour wheel should also allow users to quickly select between two performance colour wheels to optimise for best colour or brightest light.

“The simultaneous blending and warping, combined with the ability to project in either portrait or landscape mode, means the new Christie Q Series models provide greater installation freedom, whether it’s a fixed installation or a rental staging application,” says Curtis Lingard, product manager, Christie.

“Built into the same small chassis as our existing and very successful Q Series, the 1052-Q models bring even more brightness in the same unbelievably small form factor. This allows it to fit into small spaces and go unnoticed while the focus of the audience remains on the stunning images, all at a low cost of ownership.”

The new Christie Q Series models will be live at the ISE 2016 show in Amsterdam and ships in April 2016.
