HP Invites Business Community to Meet Its New Chromebox

Companies like Apple and Google are revolutionizing the way people interact and create content in both the business and consumer worlds.

The Skinny: Taking products and solutions to a level where a variety of users already can employ them on a regular basis, the Palo Alto, Calif.-based technology company HP teased the public with a product line that it says will bring the functionality and ease-of-use of Google’s Chrome platform into the business world to enable a new era of business.

The Specs: As part of its regular blog space, the company introduced its Chromebox line of products to the public. HP explains the soon-to-be-released Chromebox works with standard keyboards, displays and mice, and it offers a choice of connectivity formats that include HDMI, DisplayPort and Bluetooth.

Available in a choice of colors to help match personal preference and interior design criteria, the Chromebox can be positioned on a desk or table. Through its VESA compliant design, it can be wall mounted in locations including behind a display or near to a projector to save on long cabling runs.
